"After a split with Wizzard Sleeve and an impressive single of their own, Montgomery, Alabama’s Amber Alerts really raise the bar with their new Sweet Rot 7”. “Antibodies” is a killer drugged-out guitar/synth jam. “Brain Scratch” is pure punk filth. “Somewhere Under the Shit Cloud” takes a repetitive bass riff and drills it into the fucking ground. These songs remind me of a dirty, Southern, teenaged version of the Primitive Calculators and for that I am thankful."
