Some highlights added to the mail order page over the last weeks include
TONS of titles on the wonderful Not Not Fun label. From the new
Scorces and Sun Araw LPs to bands like Eternal Tapestry, Emaciator and
Social Junk. We also have back in stock the WONDERFUL Christina Carter /
Pocahaunted split LP they put out.
Speaking of split LPs, also
in stock and available are the Intelligence/Ohsees LP and the
Grouper/Inca Ore LP. If you're like Mike Sniper and hate split releases,
might I point you in the direction of the Bags reissue. Rare punk, 77-80
with live recordings and demos as well as studio tracks.
Also in stock are a few
reissues on the Enfant Terrible label, including a Doxa Sinistra LP and
a compilation LP of cuts recorded for Trumpett in the early eighties.
For a similar sound in a contemporary idiom, there's also the Medio
Mutante LP on Cititrax.
COUNTY LABEL LPs! Very excited to say that we have some vintage
(read: dead stock) copies of classic rural string band reissues. Though
several exciting titles have already sold out, there are still some
wonderful things here including a Hillbillies comp (twenties country!),
the Border Radio comp with Slim Rinehart and The Carter Family, and
several volumes of pre-war Virginia fiddle music.
